You are adept at interrogations and extracting information from those who are unwilling. You can cast the detect thoughts spell twice, without expending a spell slot. You can increase the duration by 1 minute or more, but you risk increasing amounts of exhaustion: you must make a DC 14 Constitution saving throw for each extra minute added (including the first additional minute); on a failure, you gain one point of exhaustion and take 1d4 psychic damage for each minute that you push this ability further. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for the spell.
