This magic ring carries a magical sigil created by a cunning con-artist to resemble a noble house's sigil. It actually has a magic stone on it rather than an actual noble sigil. Anyone who tries to remember the sigil must succeed on a DC 20 Intelligence (History) check. On a failed save, they will think it is legitimate but won't be able to remember which noble family had it.
