You touch a crafted object with artistic value and a resemblance to a humanoid, such as a statue, painting, trinket, or similar object. For the duration, you can access what they have witnessed in the past. You designate a time (such as yesterday at noon, last night at midnight, new year's eve, or the like) and you can see through the object's eyes and experience what it has seen in the designated timeline. You can use your action to change the time you designate. While concentrating on the spell, you can switch between your own senses and the object with a bonus action. While perceiving through the object, you are blind to your own senses.

Alternatively, you can perceive through the object at the moment if the object is within 1 mile of you. By the time the spell's duration ends, you can expend any spell slot as a reaction to increase its duration.

At Higher Levels

When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher its duration is extended by 10 minutes for each slot level above 1st.
