You touch a weapon that can deal slashing damage. If not magical, the weapon becomes one for overcoming resistance and immunities against nonmagical slashing damage. For the duration, it can cut any object that is not worn or being carried into two, depending on what the weapon is aimed at. For example, it could cut a pillar that supports a building and could damage the building's integrity by doing so. The cut halves look like they are severed by magical flames.

In addition, when the weapon hits a creature, the wielder can choose one of the options if the mentioned objects are not magical: Cut the shield, cut the armor, or cut the weapon. The said object becomes useless, for example a nonmagical plate armor does not work for the creature.

Barbarossa's Astonishing Repairs spell can mend the objects. In addition, if the mending cantrip is cast as a 10-minute ritual and by expending a 4th level spell slot, it can also fix the objects.
